afshin sabounchi

project manager

Afshin has worked in the construction industry since 1995, bringing decades of leadership, technical expertise, and hands-on experience to every project. He holds a Civil Engineering degree from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, and before joining Houck, he owned and operated a construction and development company in Vancouver for nearly 30 years.

Afshin is passionate about the impact his work has on future homeowners and takes pride in delivering projects that shape how people live. A key part of his role is building strong relationships with clients: understanding their vision, preferences, and goals, and translating those insights into successful outcomes.

Outside of work, Afshin values balance and well-being. He enjoys long walks, meditation, great food, and spending time with his five-year-old son, who is in kindergarten.
